Anyone have some pics of their truck lifted before getting tires? Want to go either level and 33's or spend that money on a 6" and wait for funds for tires/wheels.......I just dont want it to look stupid for a couple months. Thanks!!

If you want a 4" or 6" lift then I would go that route, but wait to install it until you get new wheels and tires.

There's a thread in the 4th gen lifted section that may help give you an idea. It's not something I would want to ride around on for more than a couple days.

Then save up for both the lift and the wheels / tires.:birgits_tiredcoffee

Your stock tires are already 33s, btw.

I thought stock wheels won't work with a lift? Maybe a dumb question

Not a dumb question.
Some lifts require wheels with a lower offset to clear, or the choice in tire width causes rubbing.
I ran a 4" lift, stock wheels and a spacer (to clear the 12.5" wide tires).

thanks for the posts, any pics????

measured my stock tires and they are right at 32" as the truck sits. Thinking of going 35 12.5 on the stock 20's. It seems the 4 and 6" lifts are just about the same price, might as well go 6 then....

This is with a 3". Those arent even stock tires either. They're 2 sizes bigger than stock...Teeny tiny.. lol
I'd say level with 33"s would be nice. You may want to go bigger in the future though...like many of us haha!
So 6" with 35s or 37s would look awesome too! Just save the funds before you jump on that choice.

I didnt like it, but hey if thats what you like, go for it!
Maybe that same setup with some bigger wheels and offroad tires would look decent,
