Just inventoried my lift. I had intended on installing myself but still can't find the time. Wanted to make sure I had everything before the truck got on a rack somewhere.
Two questions though:
-the steering knuckles are labeled 02+ are these correct. I just assumed they may have changed something in ten years.
- anyone aside from atom have experience with the new style sway bar links from rcx? From what I've seen the new style binds and doesn't work as well as the older style.

Don't think this really helps you at all, but in terms of the sway bar links I just snapped one of mine on Monday, not sure if it is related to what you were saying

you know how i feel about the new links, they suck. drive done a pothole filled rode and you swear your suspension is gonna break off. not to mention they creak when the suspension does flex.

Exactly what I was afraid of. They looked like they were in such a bind in your pics and now that rwalk has snapped one confirms that they are an inferior design. I don't think that's a coincidence.
Rwalk - have you contact end rcx are they gonna replace them?

I am going to call tomorrow about it and see what they will do, it happened off roading though so I'm not too sure if it was because of over flexing or hitting a rock or because of the design, but either way I'm hoping they will replace it

Maybe switch to some quick disconnects to disconnect the sway bars as often as I see your off reading. I leave my wranglers unhooked haha

Mattman, can you take a pic of your front sway links so I can see them.

Not going to need to be destroying the truck anymore! My dad and I just got a 1990 wrangler yj on 35's!

I wanted to mention that to you when you were talking about 40s and etc to get your awesome brand new truck off road capable.. congrats, man. Now go wash that truck and keep it that way haha.

Which axles does it have underneath it?

I emailed RC and see how they want to handle it. if they don't give me any satisfaction,which i'm doubting, considering i pretty much got told to stuff it when i complained about getting shorted parts and no instructions, my lift will be getting removed soon.

Truck just got detailed and it's looking great! The jeep has a Dana 30 in the front and a Dana 35 in the rear, 4.10 gear ratio and front and rear lockers

Just be careful with the dana 30/35s and bigger tires than 35s unless you have the super35 set up in it!
