I need to be able to easily turn off the 12v power to the truck's 7 pin trailer connector. When I have my truck camper on the truck, and everything is turned off, including the camper's power and battery, it drains the battery on the truck. I have the optional toggle switches in the cab of the truck. Is there a way to route that 12v power to the trailer connector through the cab switches, so I can turn the power to it on and off? Or is some other way to easily do it? Otherwise, I have to crawl under the truck to unplug the camper's power cable. Thanks . . . any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use the upfitter switches to power the +12V of the trailer 7pin, you would just need to find where that wire comes out of the fuse box.

Unless you wanted to tap into other area's and do not want to unplug stuff, my only thought would be:
1) Maybe upfitter wiring like Crash Suggests
2) Put a HD switch wired into the 12V power going from the truck to the camper. Would have to be a heavy duty, water proofed and shrink wrapped and encased, put in an area that you could reach to keep out weather. Basically in simple terms a heavy duty toggle/switch on the 12V wiring going to pin out to trailer. (maybe something be researched thru CURT).

ADDED: And no, I have not done this, just thinking out loud (skeery for a BOIRD). If I get to the point where I put like a 60" light or something back there, I would use a CURT adapter. Not the same thing U R trying to do.

ALL of the above just a suggestion, and IMHO.....
