8.4 part numbers.

Hey everyone, I have a 2015 2500 bighorn. My 8.4 radio has an internal short and I need to replace it. I can’t seem to find my exact part number 68206388AH. Does anyone have a resource that has a cross reference guide of part numbers that will work in its place? Thanks.

I am just guessing here :

You may find that your radio
68206388_ _ , started out as 68206388AA or AB
each time that an improvement was made, only the 2 ending letters are changed.
Your radio is 68206388AH

Sounds about right. I’ve been looking on eBay and other used part sites and I don’t see any that have the same numbers but a few that do have the AH at the end. I just took the radio apart and found some watery substance that definitely shouldn’t be on one of the boards. Gave it a good cleaning and I’ll see if that works. If not it’ll be back to searching.

Well it went like this. I found a used parts/wrecking yard in my town that had a couple stock radios from some 1500’s for $395.00. They let me plug one into my harness and what do you know it works. I did have to stop by a dealership on my way home to get the new radios PIN code but that was no problem with the donors vin and my vin and a receipt of purchase.
