Who's buying up all the new 8HP70 transmissions..........68195679AG
The 8HP70 has become the transmission swap of transmission swaps in the last few years, now that the aftermarket has started supporting swap kits for it.If you go on any of the HP swap pages on facebook, you'll find guys putting the transmissions behind everything, and throwing alot power at it

I’m not a fan of this transmission….we are at 115000 miles and on transmission number three… thank God all under warranty!
You can probably blame that on your dealer and warrenty company,as they're apparently not changing out the thermal management unit or replacing the transmission cooler,so the problems will reoccur again.
The thermal management unit is where the transmissions thermostat is located and it doesn't come with a new or rebuilt Mopar transmission, and odds are it's your issue, and the transmissions cooler is located in the top half of the A/C condensor, and should be replaced or thoroughly flushed when a transmission is replaced, but odds are your warrenty company won't pay to replace or flush the cooler,or replace the thermal management unit. It's not the transmissions fault you've gone through 3 of them,it's your warrenty company and dealers fault.

In this particular case, I don’t blame the dealership because I had to wait an additional three weeks on the last one waiting on the thermal package and the transmission cooler…. On transmission number two I saw all the parts before they put in…. Who knows I wanna blame it on the thermostat….. my problem is I was used to a turbo 400;);)

The transmission is probably the best transmission you can buy these days,so there has to be some external reason contributing to it's failure in your circumstances. If they replaced the cooler and thermal management unit, and flushed the lines, you should be good to go now. Keep your Evicc on the engine display so you can moniter the transmissions temp
