I'm from the UK. I have recently bought a 1995 Ram 1500. It was cheap as the transmission was gone, the previous owner had a shop take it out to find it was *****'d. They never replaced it.
I need to get a replacement and can get one shipped via some guys who ship out of New Jersey every month.
But I need advise on compatibility. I know it should have a NV3500, but many of those I see are from later models with the 4.7 engine.
I believe the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same, but interchange numbers are different.
What year manual trans will actually work in my truck? Engine is a 3.9V6.
