I searched and found installation instructions but need more information on intake gasket corners. I know a bead of rtv must be used at each corner where gaskets meet.
My Haynes says end seals fit into tangs. Well I don't have any. Don't know if there were tangs on head gasket that rusted away with intake gaskets or if I ever had them.
So without "tangs" in all 4 corners what is the best way to install the intake gaskets? I definitely need something to hold head side gaskets in place as they slide down head. Should I apply bead of rtv 1st then put gaskets on then a second bead?
I had 2 broken bolts I was able to remove. They were causing coolant leak. Thanks for advice.
Edit: after dry fit I see how end seals meet with head side intake gaskets.
