While installing my new 87MM TB from Moe's Performance, I noticed how filthy my old one was after one year. So my questions are:

-How/Why does it get this way

-How can I clean it

-How do I prevent it from getting this way (am I doing something wrong?)

yup, as you are not sending oil back in the system

Do NOT use tb cleaner. brake cleaner works best.

Ok so catch can is installed and all went well.... but as we saw with the TB it was filthy and who knows how filthy the intake is. Is there a way to clean it? I heard some people use seafoam but I've also heard some people tell horror stories about it.... suggestions? Advice?
