A spare for 35s?

For thanksgiving Im returning home to Florida, 9+ hour drive and Im taking the truck because Im bringing some furniture back. With such a long drive ahead of me I completely overlooked the fact that I have a temporary spare instead of a fullsized rim. I was thinking of buying a rim from a junk yard and getting a used tire close to a 35 OD but will it fit underneath the bed? I could put it in the bed for the trip but just wanted to know if anyone has adressed this issue with oversized tires.

Same problem. I just mounted it to the roof of my topper

I have 295/70R18 tires (about 34.5") and bought a spare 20" rim with similar diameter on it. Was able to get it under the truck, but just barely (about 1/4 - 1/2" space all the way around).

Do you have a pic of this? I just got an old rim out of a junk yard. 17x9 nothing special but Im going to mount a used 315 70 R17 on it my buddy has. I know its the wrong offset for the front but if it comes to that Ill just swap the rear to the front. Also got me an extended hydraulic jack.

here are pics if anyone is interested, I got a used rim from pick n pull for 20$, used 35 x12.5x17 DC tire for 30. it all fits under the bed pretty tight. only thing it touches is some bolts on the hitch.
