About to Own a 2013 2500 Cummins

Hi folks, just checking in as a new member on RamForum.
Currently overseas but will be back in the US this summer; and, will be picking up my brand new HD 2500 Laramie Mega Cab as soon I can get to the dealer. Put in an early bird order through the Exchange Auto sales and am going crazy with anticipation of driving her off the lot.
Ram finally got agressive about addressing capabilities! I have always loved Ram trucks but couldn't get myself to get back into one in the recent past. I'm really excited about the changes the company has made in their approach to building the 2013 2500/3500.

Looking forward to getting to know fellow Ram owners on this forum!

I'm not sure the capacities change much in the 2500 for 2013 though honestly. The 3500 with the high output motor and Aisin trans is where the real increase in capacities comes. My dad is considering trading his 2010 2500 in on a 2013 3500 single rear wheel. He went with the 6 speed manual in his 2010, to avoid the 68RFE automatic.

Regardless of powertrain, the 2013 trucks have a much improved interior too.

I am kind of bummed that it only comes with 3.42 gears. I was wanting 3.73...oh well, pressing on with it anyway.

3.42 are still really pretty strong gears in a diesel I don't think you'll be all that upset once you drive it!
