So a minute after I turn the truck on and start driving, the ABS light comes on and for reason the engine wont go into 2nd gear and it takes a while for it to going, my question does this have to do with the transmission that is slipping or is it just a issue with the computer and needs to be reset. The second question is it a serious thing that i have to stop driving and get a rental and take it in first thing on monday or can it wait till i can get it into the shop and get it check, mind you a few months ago, the factory engine blew and the truck has a after market jasper engine and was wondering if something might of happened to the computer while they were changing engines, please let me know.

Clearly there's a few things going on that will need attention sooner rather than later. What year is the truck and is the check engine light on?

Try pulling the fuse for the ABS system and see if the shifting returns to normal. On occasion a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor makes the system "think" a wheel is slipping and that can affect engine power and shifting.

Year is 2014, 112,246 on the truck, 3600 on the new engine, no check engine light is on.

Check the wheel speed sensors. Probably going to have to get it to a shop that has a scan tool that can read the ABS and tell which one it is.

As others have mentioned, check the wheel speed sensors. A good scan tool that will do ABS should give you live wheel speed data so you can see if there's a lazy or malfunctioning sensor

ABS module is out, getting a remanfacutred one cause a new one is like $900 and so with this one and labor comes out to like $1,000.00. I think its safe to say after the engine blowing a few months ago, the abs moudle, exhaust leak and now the fuel pump is going, I wont be getting another ram, sorry to say but I have had 3 ford trucks, 2 broncos and 1 F150 and nothing like what Im going through with this ram ever happen to those trucks.
