ABS module

my brother in law has a 3rd gen 2500 (cummins)
he thinks the abs module is bad
is this a common problem and are there any fixes that aren't super expensive?
I know there was a guy on ebay fixing ones for chevy trucks fr $250, figured I would ask.

his speedo does not work due to this abs problem either.
any ideas?


another issue is the blower motor.

i had an s10 and the ABS acted up all the time
it was form the wire in the hub that got torn while wheeling
i just unpluged the ABS computer so it wouldnt kick one all the time

yea, I had similar issue with a z71.
I just pulled the fuse.

his is making the speedo and mileage not function.

Pulling the fuse will disable the speedo find some one to check the codes [they need a brake scan tool a regular scanner won't do it] most times it's the sensor in the differential,mine is supposed to be the main fluid block thing under the hood according to the guy that scanned it.
