This is for a project I am building - pls be patient with this post.
Does the 2022 Ram 1500 have an AC Accumulator? ...something like the 2006 Ram 2500 has - as separate canister mounted on the firewall.....or is that a thing of the past and the newer models just have some type of "Dryer" mounted right on the condenser? I am adapting a 2022 Ram drivetrain and most controls into a 55 Dodge Power Wagon.....and need to know exactly what AC parts are needed.

The low side accumulators have basically gone away.
The newer Gen4/5 truck use basically have high side sub-cooler. On the passenger sidewall of the engine bay you find a line that the high side goes into the low side line. The sub-cooler not only stabilizes the liquid refrigerant going to the metering device but also boils off any liquid in the low side returning to the compressor. This is used on the 1234YF refrigerant AC systems
