I have a 2016 Ram tradesman. I am having problems with the AC system. It will blow air but no heat. I replaced the AC head on the instrument bezel and no luck. I was told to look at The AC control module but I can’t seem to find it. I looked behind the AC vent on the right side but nothing was there. Is it possible that not all versions of the GEN four Ram have a control module? I’m thinking that might be possible because this is a low-end trim package. I’m stumped. I would appreciate any advice so I can get this crazy thing fixed.

Thanks very much. I have been tearing the thing apart and have seen no signs of it or the wiring that would support it. Good to know that not all models have it. I guess my next step is to check the actuators. That also good new because the best price I could find online for the module is $485!!

Thanks for helping a rookie.

Wow, that's gone up tremendously. I paid $134 brand new for mine when I added one to go with the 8" radio last year.

As kad stated the Tradesman HVAC module is incorporated into the actual three knob climate control. You do not have a remote HVAC module like the trucks equipped with the 8.4 radio. I would reccomend checking to see if your blend door is functioning in your plenum box under the dash. It sounds like it may be stuck or possibly the blend door motor is not working. It would also be good idea to make sure your coolant level is full. Let the truck reach operating temperature and turn on the heat to full blast. Check the heater hoses to make sure they are hot and have coolant running through them and circulating through the heater core. You can probably do a Google search or check YouTube to see how to check the blend doors and see if they're working.
