AC Vent ?

Does it seem that the driver side Ac Vent points to far toward the side window? With the blower on its high setting. I hear a hurricane but don't feel the air on my face it seems like it points toward the window even adjusted toward the passenger side. This spring has been mild, yesterday hit 100 and the truck was uncomfortable for many miles. I hate to think what this is going to be like at the peak of the Az summer. I have lived in Arizona 58 years and never used a sun shade on the windshield but wonder if this is a must on this truck? I hope someone tells me my vent is goofy
