so as many of you know last June or so i ceramic coated my truck with Adams paint ceramic coat. Its been less than a year but today all I did was wash with a foam cannon and blow dry the whole truck (disclaimer I did ceramic boost the truck within the last week which is part of the Adams ceramic process). Anyway I am very excited because with the way the truck looks after a somewhat severe winter with lackluster washing, I have these results and don’t foresee any polishing or waxing needed for at least another year.

Have you used anything other than the ceramic boost it comes with? I'm getting ready to try "Shine Armor" as I heard it works really well with this combo. I found the booster doesn't last as long as I thought it would. I guess washing my truck a couple times a week doesn't help (high pollen and dust for break-up in AK).

Nope, I did my paint correction and then applied the ceramic coating last July. I’ve only used the ceramic boost twice (after 24 hours of initial install of ceramic coating & a couple weeks ago)

Washed, iron and fallout remover, clayed with dawn soap as my lube, then wiped with ipa and the DA still pulled this much dirt out of the paint (Just the roof)

My wheels are dirty because I had to keep driving off my driveway to get out of direct sunlight.

I was trying to get the camera to pick up the water on the door at the end of the video. But it wasn’t working

Looks good!!!!!! I'm thankful I have a garage---a cool surface is so much easier to work with. If that door is any indication of how the rest is going to look, I think you hit a home run!!!!!!!

Yea doing that outside with all the damn rain PA gets is frustrating. Most ceramics you want to cure for 24 hours before getting them wet

I would love a Garage.

PA rain has been brutal we had a pop up rain last night I went out and dried it right away. It was curing for 14 hours in the sun so I’m thinking it was good. We had another small one this morning that’s the video I made drying it. I just got done coating it with DPC Armor it has the same si02 formula and it worked great on my wheels.
I have been using bead maker but I guess I’ll be switching back to the armor.
I’ll have to do the bed in July when I get back from Vacation. Really happy finally owning a DA polisher. I’ve only used rotory buffers before with wool pads. Small learning curve

I got everything but the bed done. I finished the glassparency on the side windows too. I live in a cul-de-sac and my neighbor had a party yesterday this is how their guests parked

Hell I don't like that many people enough to invite them to my house! Looks like another example of "You can't cure stupid"

Hahahahaha it wasn’t even like it was close. We let it go for an hour before asking them to move. My wife wouldn’t let me get the chains out to move it myself. We don’t live in the city it’s not like parking is hard to find. Just ignorance not my neighbors fault I know they would have told their guest to move if they weren’t hosting 30 others in the backyard.
My point was that I didn’t get any good pictures in the sun because thunder storms rolled through and my driveway was blocked. Now my truck is covered in pollen and I can’t wash it for 3 days minimum. So I’ve just kept blow drying it every time it gets wet

That has happened to us quite a few times. Had one towed. Unbelievable that morons can't see there is a driveway there with a big truck parked there.

They saw it. It was not an accident when she came out to move it after we asked to move it she said she didn’t think we would need to get out.

Obviously I don’t have the ram anymore but this is my thread and it’s the prep for applying Adams ceramic paint coating on my Jeep so I don’t care :birgits_tiredcoffee

Today after work I started the paint correction on the jeep( by paint correction I mean using Adams deep correcting polish, correction polish, and finishing polish to get rid of scratches and spots in the paint, I am not wet sanding to get rid of orange peel, that is way beyond my level of comfort)

I am half way done with this process.(pics below). I will finish up tomorrow after work so that Saturday morning I can start to apply the ceramic coating. Then on Sunday after 24 hours have passed I can apply the ceramic boost.

I started with the roof and ended up spending way more time than I wanted on something that no one can ever see unless they are up on a step stool

083F0DA6-6D35-4115-A8F9-DFCEF582FB96.jpeg

Then I moved on to the hood. This was rather easy since the Jeep is not as tall or wide as a ram so I didn’t even need the step stool to do it
