I wasn't going to post but thought this was really interesting after reading a different thread.
I have 2022 4x4 1500 5.7 eTorq Crew 6' bed and 3.92's. For 12K miles, I've averaged 16 - 17 MPG, I tend to cruise 70-80MPH. I added the FlowMaster Street Thunder and it sounds really fantastic, no drone at any speed. (I left resonators on).
The surprise is the mileage, for the last 1500 miles its been on, I'm averaging 17-19MPG depending on traffic etc. I did expect to see a small improvement just because the engine breathes better etc. Since I didn't throw any codes, I decided to add in the K&N Filter only. My biggest surprise there was how restrictive the OEM set up was, the paper filter is what it is. But they added the second layer of microfiber filter permanently fixed to the lid. For those with fishtanks, it looks and feels exactly like the coarse media we stick in there. I ripped that out as well.
The sound is great and engine does respond a heck of a lot better, set of the pants anyway.
