Installed one a few weeks ago. Threw a code. Emailed PC and they responded within five minutes. Told me to turn vehicle off for thirty minutes and disconnect PC.

Once rebooted, code went away. I just can't change modes with foot on gas is their recommendation.

Anyway, what a beast it has become. Always in sport mode. Sport + 3-4 you can't drive around town. Pedal becomes too touchy.

Well worth the money and a blast. It also changed the tone the pipes. That was my next purchase. No need now.

Yep, Sport+ (3-4) is where she stays!
Wife has a 2020 M340, and she always keeps that in Sport+. I Installed PC on my 16’ RAM and had her drive without her knowing. 1st time on the gas she spun both tires in the grocery parking lot saying WTF did you do, this is stupid, LOL you don’t need this!” Ummm, yes I do!

May be my Christmas present to myself. I might have to limit this to dry pavement driving only, already spin tires on wet roads like crazy.

Agreed. I have both and never thought it would add that much. Personally go with the sport on 3rd level as a standard. That sport + is fun though.

I have the pedal commander on mine and have had for several thousand miles. I love it. BIG difference.

Hearing all these replies makes me want one. How hard is the install process?

I have one on my old Silverado. Kind of expensive for just a potentiometer adjustment :) I got mine because I started getting leg cramps, and the lighter push on the pedel was a big relief for my on long drives when I couldn't use the cruise control.

Silly thing to me is the OEM could probably do this in software.

It does have an ECO mode but honestly fuel savings is not the point of the Pedal Commander. However I will say we do have some customers reporting that in city and lower sport modes they are getting slightly better mpg with the PC. The added throttle response alone is worth the price of admission for the Pedal Commander!
Does the Pedal Commander work on Diesel engines?

....and I know, it’s a “placebo effect” or whatever you want to call it....but DAMN! This makes driving the Ram even more fun than it already was.

It’s more than “mash the throttle down faster”......a lot more. This thing has become a beast with it. The Sport + setting (at 3) literally had me leaving rubber in the driveway.

I have no desire to build a 700hp torquemonster. Been there and done that with my 700+hp Nissan Titan. LOL. I just wanted this to be a little more fun to drive and the $300 I spent on the PC was worth every penny so far.

Next up....the Vararam cold air intake......

I'd love to try this on my '18 2500. Is this something that will leave a trace that can void your warranty?

No it shouldn't, easily unplug and take off if you go in for warranty work.

Nope. It pops right out without a trace according to them. Installation and I suppose taking it back out is a breeze.

Well, for everyone worrying about warranty issues, what might a dealership service department say, if they see the Pedal Commander plastic bracket stuck to the dash, clearly embossed with “Pedal Commander” ?
