Adding 4-channel amp to Uconnect 3.0?

Hey guys.

Not sure if this is possible, but can I add a 4-channel amp for the door speakers and keep the Uconnect 3.0 headunit? I have the base stereo. Would I just need an amp bypass kit?

Also, does anyone know the factory speaker wire size? Is it 18 gauge?

Yes you can all you need is a Line output converter (LOC) or an amp that will take high output signal straight from the Headunit. Stock wire is pretty small I would guess 18-20.

Or you an amp that will allow high level speaker inputs, then no need for a LOC.
