Newbie, pardon me if this is in the wrong spot....
I have seen write-up on adding under-dash & under seat lighting. I was wondering has anyone added additional ceiling lights? Like adding map lights or adding a second dome light in center front panel of the headliner where there is a drop-down? I moved over from a SUV that had center mounted map lights which I’ve gotten very used to. As I drove into work this morning I thought about buying a dome light, cut the headliner out, and mount the new housing. I’m guessing that I could fish the wires direct from the original.
My ’84 RamCharger had wiring in place. I just needed to buy a new housing, BOOM! I went from dome light to dome light with plane style map lights. SO, if someone has done this or knows of wiring that is in place, or has knowledge/ or experience of how to add additional lighting to the interior ceiling I would be ever so great full to hear about it.
