About to finally put some money into the Daytona... Still learning everything about the Hemi that I can, but still not knowledgeable enough to just start buying parts that aren't too cheap.

Truck is all stock except for K&N CAI and the Daytona Borla exhaust...

What would yall do as far as Cam, Headers, Gears, Stall? Best set up for a possible100 shot in the future...

Any info on the AT3030 muffler and Spartan Maxx Cam?

Thanks everyone for any and all input.

Gears I'd say 4.56's. Cam for you; sky's pretty much the limit, you can custom tune it. Match your converter to your cam/gear combo (get advice from TC manufacturer). Pacesetter longtubes seem to be the most popular ones, and would go well with your plans.

Thanks fellas. 4:56 sounds like a good time... But, I was wondering how it would do with spray. How expensive and in depth are we talking in order to be sitting at 430-450 at the wheels? Without spray...

2k won't get you too far huh? Haha. Sounds like I just keep buying things to break the bank for minor gain. Still like the truck more than my gasser silverado

2K will get you a cam, headers and verter if your doing your install. Your gonna have to fork over alill more to get a tune also for the setup. For those #'s you might see it with a stroker with a high CR and a healthy cam with a prayer. Being in TX you can hit up Stu at Inertia for a build list on the internals for the motor. Whats the end goal for the truck?

Spray and 4.56's should be just fine. I know a couple guys that were running in the 12
s with cam, heads, headers, 150 shot, and 4.56's.

On a 2k budget your best bet will be to grab the supporting mods (tuner, CAI, Headers, gauges etc) and get them in and then start adding the rest. You would be surprised how fast the supporting mods add up

Damn, running a 250 shot? I was on the fence if a 150 was too big. Haha. Thanks for all the input fellas. I love the thought of eventually putting a turbo on it. Had it in mind before I purchased the truck. Knew I was a ways away, just part of the game. Gotta pay to play haha

175 had been run before and after that your on barrowed time. Best case on a big shot gone wrong is you blow the plactic intake manifold off. 150 is safe, main thing is baby steps on the spray and adjust for it.
