Hi. New to the forum. I'm about to embark on the much spoken about lifter issue. I have done enough repairs that I'm confident in my abilities to do the job. Few questions for the pros 1. Since the heaf bolts are not TTY do I need to replace them? 2. How do I know if the cam phaser needs to be replaced? 3. I plan to replace valve stem seals and check seating, do I need to replace the springs? 4. I've seen a few posts for "good used OEM" camshaft, any opinion on this would be much appreciated.
Any and all input would be much appreciated

You're in the wrong section, you should be posting in the 4th Gen section. How many miles on the engine
Head bolts replace
Cam phaser is probably okay
Never hurts to replace springs on a high milege truck, they are a wear-able item

Thanks for the response. Truck has 175k miles.
I'm guessing that's Kilometers if you're in Alberta. So a little under 109,000 miles.

Doesn't hurt to change the springs at that milege,as Alberta's climate is hard on them with our -30C or colder winter temps
