Hey guys. I have everything ready to install and wire up, but dont know where to find the cargo light wire.

I want to mount LED pods onto my hitch and use the cargo light wire for my switch. I know the cargo light is on a relay. I dont want to wire the pods into the switch/relay side. Im looking for the actual wire that feeds the cargo lights.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Found this old thread... its on a 3500, but might be worth looking into.

https://www.ramforum.com/threads/cargo-light-wiring.24177/

"the cargo light apparently gets its power from the cluster. the wire that feeds the cargo light is white with a tan stripe (labeled "cargo lamp driver" on my diagram), and is apparently pin 22 in the 43 pin harness to the left of the brake pedal inside the cab."

Another good thread...

https://www.ramforum.com/threads/installing-led-bed-lights-question.76561/

"tied mine into the cargo light wires (WT/TN - if I remember correctly), under the drivers side rear door sill."
