aero dam in deep snow

not sure its called an aero dam but drops down to improve fuel mileAge. question is if exiting the driveway when the snow is bumper deep will this be damaged ?

It doesn’t deploy until you reach x mpg. Not sure what x is but unless your driveway is a 1/2 mile long, I doubt you get there.

Thought the x was 35 MPH according to one of our fell MOPAR maniacs. Only concern I would have is if the snow if built up under the bumper and you take off, may cause problems.

Another issue may rear it's ugly head, not that I partake in off roading, but those who do and either get stuck or hit obstacles (stock height), the aero dam may fall off. Wonder if there is a way to have a "quick" disconnect on that part?

It's built by a company called Magna and deploys at 35 mph. Here'a a thought for the OP...shovel the driveway before you drive down it...perhaps? ;)
