Hey guys , so I bought these headlights https://www.americantrucks.com/ram2...hts-matte-smoked-lens-2lhp-ram09sm-sq-rs.html . I didn’t not know before buying them that my truck has factory halogen projector headlights , I’ve been looking around trying to find a wiring harness to connect from my factory headlight wiring to connect to these headlights to make them plug and play , I’ve seen these. https://alpharexusa.com/products/13...-to-alpharex-projector-headlights-converters/
But I’m not sure if they will work to make them plug and play , has anyone done this before or have any information to point me in the right direction before I try to make my own harness, also my truck is a 2016 2500 Laramie, thank you in advance

That wiring harness from Alpharex will allow you to plug non-projector housings into a truck that came with the factory projectors. Those adapters also allow you to use the Dedicated DRL wiring but that will need to be enabled with AlfaOBD.
You may also need to use AlfaOBD if you plan on using LED bulbs in the headlights(there's settings for LED bulbs in the BCM)

How did you not know that your truck has factory projectors?
Ahh yes , good question , I didn’t do my due diligence when researching for headlights , I assumed when I bought these that , when it said it would fit on my truck after I put my truck details in that it would
Be plug and play, and I was wrong

There are so many variations in these trucks, especially interior and lighting, it can be difficult to know at a glance if something will fit and operate correctly. I really miss the 80s when anything Chevy truck would any other Chevy truck, and with little modification even the body lines would match.

Found and fixed the issue! I found these https://www.amazon.com/GoaMotors-Pr...2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
They were plug and play , fit correctly and the automatic headlights work , no issues so far , only thing that has happened was saying my front passenger blinker was out , it wasn’t and the message went away
Thank you for your response

I don’t , I can take some today and tomorrow morning with them fully working , they were fairly easy to install , hardest part was getting the headlights to lock back in when installing new ones, will update post tomorrow morning with them working during night time and what they look like during the day , I would also say they are brighter then the factory headlights

That's good to hear they are working correctly. I have seen a pair of these headlights on Marketplace and I really like the look of them. Do you have any photos of your truck with them installed?
First picture is with auto start lights on , second and third are normal lights on
