Anyone have any recommendations for a block or oil pan heater? It baffles me to no end that Dodge doesn't build these in as an OEM standard, but whatever..... I live in MN and can't always park in the shop or garage.

Thanks!

I bought a magnetic one that stuck to the bottom of the oil pan and the wiring was routed to come out the front.
I just plugged it in for the night.
When not using it, the plug was just pushed behind the grill and you couldn't see it at all. The magnet was very strong. Had no problems with that aspect.
Sorry, I don't remember the make/model. Pretty sure you could Google it and have choices.
End result was claimed to keep the oil 30 deg. F. above outside temp. I found the truck (hemi 5.7) cranked faster and started easier on really cold nights. I was in Sussex County, NJ, about 20 miles fron NY State and 30 miles from PA state line.
We had one really cold snap for about 3 weeks where it never got above 0 deg. F and had no problems .
Good luck.

Bought my truck from Ram in Fairbanks Alaska and they had already pre-installed oil and trans warmers. They are just the universal sticky ones that you can buy at Autozone, stuck on with a little RTV around the edges and wired together with one plug out the front. Definitely helps at -50 so you'd probably be alright going that route as well.

One piece of advice if you buy a magnetic warmer....

Clean the surface really good. If you get just a little dirt, gravel etc. under it, the magnetic pull might be strong enough to hold it there but if it isn't actually touching the surface area perfectly, it will be far less effective.
