Hahaha love that second question/answer.

Here's mine, no hood, only headlights. I soooo wish I would have joined this forum before I got my Recons. I love my Recons but I really love those RetroShop lights, especially bigbadram's!! Oh well, maybe someday!!

looking to purchase some smoked headlights..need opinions

i've been looking up a few different smoked headlights and wanted your guys' opinion on them and if you guys have any advice/feedback/product reviews/ etc.
I have a metallic grey 03 Ram 1500 SLT Quad.
Option #1. Projector Headlights from Spyder.

Option #2. Projector Headlights from Anzo.

Option #3. Spec-D Headlights (black housing with amber reflectors)

Here's also a picture of my truck.

hey, both headlights look nice. I am actually considering one of the two.. see my recent post. Are they the Spyder's and the ANZO? How do you like them? pros/cons? I've been hearing a lot about the poor light output with the projector headlights. How have yours been working out for you?

dont buy them from ebay and stay away from smoked lens, i had both and my **** melted i was pissed, so i just got some stock/black ones for now till i have money to get some jj specials. the projcetors are a pain in the ass to aim and the light output isnt as bright as i was expecting, also the halos and leds burn out fairly quick, i had them for 2 months and by the time they melted my driver side one had burnt out led. just my $0.02 lol the smoked lens keeps in too much heat from what i have read not many people run the smoked lens for long, the spec-d ones that are black like your option 3 are just as good as smoked casue 99% of the time they looked smoked
heres a pic of my old lights

I would love to have a set of JJ heads, but it just isn't in the budget right now. Maybe someday...
