I'll change the settings on my phone for the next attempt try to get better quality. Guess I was just hoping that it would be a huge improvement with that first set of led bulbs. Well see what the 2ND set gets me

That interior kit looks like it would blind you if you had to turn on one of those lights while driving at night

It's possible. I love when I unlock my truck at night I can see inside even with my dark tint. I have pics on my comp of them compared to my stock. I'll post them in the morning.

I'm not sure if you will know this or not, but will they work on the LED tail lights?
Most likely not.

Every source I've found (including retro-solutions, who helped me order from them) has different ones listed for the OEM LED and non-LED taillights. And I can vouch for the fact, having had both in my hands (I ordered the wrong ones initially) that they are two different sizes, and NOT interchangable.

are you sure the LEDs are facing the right way? I have the Cree LEDs and they are way brighter than OEM. The LEds should face outward.

Here is my Cree's http://www.ramforum.com/f41/another_led_mod-25081/
Well, dunno if you were responding to me, but either way, that could be my problem with them. I've got them facing the reflector right now; my buddy and I figured that's how they were supposed to go in. Obviously, we thought wrong...I'll post again when I flip them, but I've already got insane 16-LED ones on the way from Superbright. :D

I'm interested in this too. What color of light did you get? "Cool", "Natural", or "Warm"? I'm thinking "Cool" or "Natural", but not sure. Also, I'm guessing for the reverse lights, these are just plug & play?

Sorry for the questions... I'm still new to the Ram. On another similar note, I'd eventually like to change out my interior lights & tag light to LED. Any recommendations on those?

I went for natural. "Cool" looked too blue and "warm" looked too yellowish for me. After installing the CREEs, I can say that they do look plug-and-play.

That's what I've seen, no resistor needed for reverse, just turn signals. I ordered the same ones says they'll be here today

Placing my order today as well! I'm going to try out the super bright LEDs for the rear as well.

Well, I flipped my CREE LEDs around to point outward instead of at the reflector.

Yup. A lot brighter. :D But I've got the big mamas on the way, so I'm sure my buddy could use the CREEs once they get here. :roflsquared:

Looks awesome Dragger! Can't wait to get mine in.

Where about in Vegas are you? I lived out there for 12 years before moving up here to CO.

So which is the brighter ones. The $24.95 ones.???
I'd have to say the SuperBrightLEDs.com ones would be far brighter.

The ones from retro-shop are definitely significantly brighter than stock, now that I have them in the right way. But they've got 2 LEDs pointed in the same direction. They're less of a spotlight than I expected, but still kinda unidirectional.

The SuperBrightLEDs ones have 13 LEDs pointing all directions. So they'll not only point directly back in an LED's natural narrow beam, but they'll bounce off the reflector and light up pretty much everything around the back of the truck, too.

The above is theory coming from me, as my 13-LED ones should arrive today. VegasDragger or someone who has them already would be able to confirm or refute that, at least until tonight (I hope) then I get them in.

TL;DR: retro-shop ones are much brighter than stock. SuperBrightLEDs ones should blow them out of the water by a huge amount.

And I would be utterly, completely wrong.

The 13-LED SuperBrights aren't much different than the CREEs from retro-shop.

If anything, the light might be a bit more spread out and diffuse.

So, I'm switching back to the retro-shop ones; I like their light pattern a bit better. But there's nothing wrong with the SuperBrights either.

I guess for that "nuke everything behind me" effect, I'll just need to add some external backup lights on later. :D

can you post a pic of them in the lens? I don't understand how the Crees are not brighter.
