Agatha is coming along nicely! I love what you have done and have planned.
I wish I could have gotten a long bed with my MC.
You are sooo right, the backup camera is a huge help with parking!
Sub'd to live the mod life vicariously through you!

If I had the funds, I would've gotten a MC and done the long bed conversion

Thanks man!

Here's a pic with the stickers on

Thanks guys!

The grille:
It was painted black by a dealer body shop (a painter owed me a big favor)

The grille inserts:
2 coats of dark slate gray
No clear

The ram head:
2 coats of dark slate gray
No clear

The front bumper:

Cleaned it up with Acetone and a scotch bright pad to clean it up.

600 grit sandpaper to scuff it up until it's dull (I'd suggest to use 200 grit).

3 coats of self etching primer.

400 grit sandpaper (LIGHTLY till it's a smooth)

Clean it up using compressed air to get the dust off.

3 coats of black
[the front bumper takes so much paint for each coat, seriously]
^light coat of adhesion promoter between the first 2 coats.^

5 coats of clear.

Thanks for the info, what kind of paint did you use and how well does it match the color of the truck?

You bet man.

The paint is a perfect match. Just find out the paint code for your truck and go to a paint store.
Tell them your code and have them mix it for you into aerosol cans.

Thanks man! I agree!

Yeah I'm doing the rear bumper outside, the paint fumes from the front end started creeping in the house to the wife, 3yr old, and 1mo old.
I had both garage doors open and 2 fans going to push the fumes out but they didn't help at all.

I'll take a messed up rear bumper over damaging my girls lungs any day hahaha.

That's a beaut. Don't like crew cabs, but do like crew long beds. Sick all blacked out. Badass!
