Tilt is a Saginaw/GM column. Non-tilt is Dodge. Quite a bit different.

The tilt column has more parts support, and can be swapped if you have an auto trans. (Lower steering shaft req'd also.)

Checked www.car-part.com? (Probably for a whole column.)

Try chasing local used parts too, because if there is no demand, nobody can be bothered parting-out anything, and everything goes to the squisher. Fwiw, I saved a whole 89 w100 from the squisher because I had the Dana 44 carrier the guy was going carve out of the truck with a gas axe otherwise. Win win.

not much action on the first gen section
There is more activity at ramchargercentral.

So much the "first gen" dodge genre is fixated on the diesels, and especially the 91-93's. Not that their parts support is very good, but anything earlier is extra tough.

Well, replacing column will wait, I pride myself on electrical wiring/repairs etc., found that the right signal wiring from the column providing signal to the right signal in the dash signal bulb and right front of the truck was shorted, repaired and working. Replaced all the bulbs as well with fresh ones but weren't the cause. Love the factory FSM!
All though I have to dis-assemble the column some anyway to see why it feels like some possible looseness maybe due to the bearing.
