Airbag light won’t go off

I swapped my seat from a 2013 sport into my 2016 slt Ram

of course. The harness doesn’t match. Now I have an airbag error.

I took to dodge. They want to replace entire airbag?! Seems overkill

Any solutions to get this red airbag light off and stop the bells going off?

Lol up airbag simulator kit. That will. Block your light but your airbag won't go off in an accident.

I looked them up online
So they plug in where the normal wires of the harness would normally go? And this will turn off the light and the dinging? But... airbag won’t work. Is all this correct?

Yes that is correct. Its kinda a hokey way of doing it but you already have a side curtain airbag and a wheel airbag a seat one seems goofy
