Not a must get. If you can get rig level with a good WD hitch, you really don't need them. Just got back from 4000 mile trip driving a 2015 1500 QC with 5.7 Hemi towing a 5500# 25' trailer. Did not have airlifts. No problems. WD was a Reese Dual Cam system. IMO one of the best for the price.

Are they a must? No. Is it one of the best mods you can do if you are going to be towing/hauling? Yes. You will be amazed at how much better the truck rides, handles, and stops when you can get the vehicle back to level while towing. This is of course assuming you don't already have factory air ride suspension.
