Does anyone have any rattling with the spacer provided with the Airlift airbag kits?

It's the thin plastic disc that is put on the top of the airbag to protect the air fittings.

Any bump or road joint I hit gives me a sound.

Nope, although last I looked, mine were wedged pretty good into the top portion of each coil, and not sitting loose.
I'd wager some electrical tape could help a fella with that :favorites13:

I drive with 12 PSI in mine at all times. The spacer is nice and tight and my truck rides smoother with the air in there! My 1.5" rear coil spacers stiffened the suspension up, but this seems to have made it smooth again!

Do you guys have any gap between the bag and where the coils sit, top or bottom?
I'm thinking it's because I have ICON coils which offer 1.5" of lift...

I played with it a couple of nights ago. Jacked up the rear, put jack stands under the frame, and let the rear suspension fully extend. Pushed the bags all the way to the bottom, tried my best to clean the top of the bag and surface of the spacer that rests on the bag. Then proceeded to goop in some silicon. Then pushed the bags all the way to the top and inflated with air.

Drove around last night and there is not rattling, so the bandaid is working.

When I pushed the bags all the way to the top and got the truck back on the ground, I have about a 1" gap between the bag and bottom fo the coil seat. Hence my question at the start of this post.

Even with my shortened stock coil I have a gap between the bottom of the bag and the bottom of the coil.

Interesting... well, at any rate, the rattle seems to be stopped by the silicon.

If it comes back, thinking I might epoxy a hockey puck to the spacer to give it some added mass and deaden the 'plastic-y' sound.

Thanks for the input.
