alarm hell....need help

ok i bought a cheap ass alarm which was my first mistake. i honestly dont even care if the alarm part works all i bought it for was keyless entry. got most of it all wired up and im hung up on 2 things. first i cant seem to get my parking lights to flash. i pulled up multiple wiring diagrams and they all said to run the wire to the purple/yellow wire. some said to do it with a resistor. tried both and the only thing i could get were my dash lights to flash. i tried every wire at the headlight switch and still got nothing. second is the whole reason i bought the damn thing. cant get the locks to work. its a negative switching alarm so it should work. my problem is i cant seem to track down the right wires to do this on. any help would be greatly appreciated since im borderline about to scrap it or pay someone more money i dont have to do it.

Positive wire for the parking lights is a black/yellow in the drivers kick panel. For the locks its a 5 wire setup which is kind of difficult if you are new at wiring and alarms but here is a pic I found on google.

well turns out that alarm i had was junk. none of it functioned properly so i took it back and got a different better brand (audiovox-i know not the best but ive used before with no problems and it was 40 bux) about to head outside now to wire up my amp and then gonna tear into the alarm. hopefully i can get it figured out...after all i am in school for electronics engineering lol

k new problem. got a new alarm and everything works except unlock.my friend says i dont need any relays and im trying to wire it up the way the wire chart says. the lock function is working perfect. problem is i cant get unlock to work at all and if i try to piggyback lock/unlock the lock function doesnt work. ive tried the 330 ohm resistor and no resistor. can anyone help?
