Alarm problem

I have a 97 ram 5.2. I just replaced the crank sensor and when I reconnected the battery my key fob stopped working and the alarm goes off. Is there any way to reprogram the remote without going to the dealer or bypassing the alarm so I can get the truck to turn over

Reconnect the battery.

Using the ignition key, lock and unlock the passenger door twice...

Then move to the driver door and lock and unlock the door twice.
