Alfa scan tool?

Total noob to the Alfa platform and I wasnt able to find a specific answer using search.
Does Alfa have the ability to scan for body codes? A door lock isn’t working and I need to see if the actuator is sending a fault code to more easily diagnose my problem.
Or, is there another scanner platform that would work better for reading those kinds of codes? I like the idea of adding factory options with the Alfa, but I also need a good scan tool without breaking the bank. Thanks

Alfa OBD is able to retrieve body as well as communication dtc’s.

That being said there isn’t really any faults that would be set by the lock actuator. If it’s not working, the easiest thing to do is take the door panel off and check for power/ground at the actuator when pressing lock/unlock.

Any recommendations on a tablet in the $150-$200 range that will work well with obdMx+ and Alfa? Possibly like to use this as a dedicated scanner across Ford and GM as well.

Something like a galaxy tab A would work just fine, or even the amazon fire tablets. The amazon ones don’t have access to google play store though.
