About 6 months ago I had a P0057 fault code come up. Seen it was heater control 2 bank 2 , which I found out is the passenger downstream 02sensor. Replaced it with an after market which allowed me to clear the code. A few months go by and the code appeared again. Thought since maybe it was due to an aftermarket sensor I installed a mopar part#05149171AB.

Can’t clear the code. What are my next steps. I went to inspect the plug connection, but it sits on top of the transmission and hard to access. I do have a decent Atel obd scanner, but honestly short of using it to pull codes I have no idea how to use it to diagnose
stuff in real time (tho I know it has the ability to ). Any help is appreciated

live data. you can look at the OBD2 live stream and see if it is responding. Heater control circuit low means either a blown fuse or a broken wire or bad ground. You will have to access the connection for the sensor and check the heater wire and heater ground. You should have 5VDC or so on the heater wire to ground.

Thank you for the quick response. Sorry I’ve been working a lot of overtime or would’ve gotten to the sooner. I was able to look up the live data and this is what I’m showing, but to be honest, I have no idea what the values should be and with this means as far as if it would be a bad ground or a clipped heat of wire, etc.
