AlfaOBD Help

Hey guys i’m new to this forum but was looking for some help... I recently purchased the OBDLink and bought AlfaOBD on my Android tablet with the hopes of setting DRL’s on my truck.

I found a guy on Youtube @BigDaddysHouse and followed his how to video to program my trucks DRL’s. I made a copy of everything and uploaded to Google drive before I made any changes.

Well needless to say, after going through the steps and waiting the full 5 minutes nothing happened... I did the process in reverse order to put the truck back to normal and tried it again with no luck.

I had my buddy get in the truck and put it in drive with no E-brake pressed to see if the DRL’s would work but they don’t. Any advice or help?

I know the AlfaOBD works because I was able to successfully program with Global-Windows Down button on my keyfob.

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 Express 5.7L V8

Anyone know if theres a way to disable the parking light out error with alfaobd? i have a 2014 ram laramie

I also used his videos to set my DRLs, and a lot of other things, with little/no problems, per se...Sometimes I had to walk away for more than the 5 minutes to get some things to 'stick' and some didn't take the whole 5 minutes...
