So having issues with our 2005 Mustang so ordered an ELM adapter to connect my laptop to it to run Forscan on it. Got me to thinking...I bought Trail Ridge tow mirrors several years ago but they still don't change orientation when I flip them up. Meaning on my mirror switches when the mirror is flipped up down is left, left is up, etc. AlfaOBD can fix this correct? I'm assuming the adapter I ordered would work with AlfaOBD? Next question...AlfaOBD isn't free but it cheap. Just not sure if it's worth $49 for me to be able to save a few seconds the few times a year I flip my mirrors up. Any free options that could do this?
Here is the adapter I ordered. BTW-Forscan is free but it's for Fords. If I thought I might need AlfaOBD again I'd have no issues paying for it.
