AlfaOBD? What all can it do on a 2012 5.7l Ram?

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Regular Cab with the 5.7 hemi.

What all can the AlfaOBD do for my truck? I know I’m the newer 13+ Rams it can do a lot for the electronics and retrofits and led bulbs.

But for the 2012 models, what are some of the things I can do? I have the power+heat mirrors, if I want to upgrade to the power+heat+puddle/turn light mirrors, will the AlfaOBD be able to program the puddle lights and turn signals to work?

I’m curious as to what all I can do with this because I keep seeing people praise this device but they all seem to have the 13+ Rams.

from what i can see, it can do pretty much the same things on the older gen 4's, IF it was an option from the factory, I've used in on my 2010 to add heated and ventilated seats and disabled the fog light dropout, and added uconnect and the steering wheel controls to my son's 2012 with no problems at all.

Can you turn off the SRS seat side impact airbags? I keep finding heated leather seats for my truck for cheap but none of them ever have the SRS airbags in them and if I put them in, I’ll get the dreaded airbag light. Has anyone successfully turned off the seat air bags with the alpha obd?

Digging this thread up. I’m not seeing where LED is an option in the 2012. Is there a work around to this? Also I don’t think LED was a factory option back then. I’m curious to know what other feature changes can be done pre 2013

Follow the instructions to enable HID and it will work for both HID’s and LED’s for all 09-12 Rams. Enabling the HID option will disable the trucks PWM which is what causes issues with lighting.
