I'm in Australia and have a DT Limited. I'd really like to have the DRL's on. There is no option for this in the menu. Should i be able to configure it with AlfaOBD? I already have an ELM327 obd dongle so I'll try that one first. Thanks.

Has anyone used alfaOBD to reset the commercial vehicle settings PIN? I bought a used 2018 RAM 3500 chassis cab, I want to program the aux switches, but the 4 digit PIN for the commercial vehicle settings has been changed from the factory default of 0000. Hoping to avoid going to the dealer to have it reset.

EDIT: I was able to use alfaOBD successfully to do this. The trick is finding the correct parameter. It is "Fleet PIN Reset", found in the menu after connecting to the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) Below are screenshots of the procedure (except the very last screen because I didn't want to accidently "undo" the fix). I believe if you select "not active", it will eliminate that menu option in your vehicle information center display. Likely the default value for trucks NOT equipped with the Aux switches.

Only takes 10,000 guesses. I did a padlock once and took 5 hours doing 2hrs a day. Don't go 0000, 0001 etc do 0000, 9999, 0001, 9998 unless it is 4999, you have a better chance at hitting it.

Got the premium cluster and had it all hooked up and tried to change the miles and hours to no avail and the "P" for park on the cluster was blinking (that normal for these clusters?) Running app on a note 20, have the obdlink mx+ and I did update it to current version and it seems to work OK and to be communicating. But every time I try to reset the miles and hours it fails saying no data from ecm/interface or data corrupted. I tried it about 10 different times and still nothing. I got fed up after about 3 hours and threw the old cluster in so I could go home from work (where all my tools were). I've read some of what I could find in the forum but nothing has worked. Anyone with more alfa experience got some advice or ideas for me to try that will work?

looking to get rid of two alarms on my dash.

first of, can you deactivate TPMS? I run a winter set and summer set of tires, the summer set has my TPMS in them.. when I run the winter set I have no sensors and would like to turn the alarm off if possible. I know you can adjust pressure, but I am looking to turn them off, any ideas on how to do this?

Second question, I added the LED CHMSL, Below are the instructions I used and it still has as an alarm of “brake light out”. What am I doing wrong??

So far I have added the global windows down, led tails lights, led parking, led tag lights, led headlights and Drl's.

The blinking P is a known issue, I haven't seen a solution to it yet though other than a dealer re-flash. Regarding the hours/mileage. What year is your truck and what year is the cluster out of?

Ok, well that rules out you needing a security bypass cable. There have been some issues with getting the mileage/hours to work with the latest versions. You might write to Alexy and ask if he can send you an older version where it was known to work.

Question on tire size change, I’ll post here since no one really goes into main tire size change thread.
When I go to clear codes in engine drop down and then go to select control unit, I have a 2018 1500, do I go down to dosing control unit MY2013-17 or what’s the chrysler powertech/pentastar/world/hemi v6/v8?
My first thought is the 2013-17 one but no clue what the other is.
Also when I go to the ABS menu then select control unit drop down, is it the ABS Bosch/Continental/Teves/TRW Powernet MY2013-18 Powernet?
I see the original write up to walk through the tire size change but seems some of the wording in alfaobd has changed since then.
Just want to make sure all is right in the areas I’m looking at.

Yes if you have factory heated seats the vented seats will work plug and play if as long as you have the 8.4 radio and you enable the correct codes. They will work exactly as factory and the options will also be present in your screen. These are the codes to set. The first two are to activate the vented seats. The last one is the CSM setting. Hi,
I installed heated/vented seats and heated stering wheel. All work great in Radio, but i would program also the new control switch
The new Control switch button have: ( Traction Control,Tow/Haul,heated seat, vented seat and heated stering) .

if i connect the new control switch, the Traction Control and Tow/Haul button disappear to working. I suspect this is a little option in AlfaOBD.
How to enable/program/activate the NEW control button switch module in AlfaOBD?

On my 2019 1500 classic, I bypassed the SGM last night and got into the body computer and turned on Travel Link. It’s been multiple cycles and almost 24 hours and the app isn’t showing. I should mention that I also don’t have the nav icon (which I don’t want) which I’ve heard may be required to get travel link. Anybody have any suggestions? I’ve got the 8.4 uconnect unit.

Part number listed on the head unit is 68331635ai. It's the unit that came with the truck when I bought it used about a month ago. Can't get a straight answer from Dodge or Uconnect as to whether or not its a nav unit.

That part number is not a Nav unit.

It's an RA2/VP2, and like mtnrider said, not a Nav unit...
