Hey guys doing a belltech 2 4 drop on my truck this weekend and I'm wondering if I take it to the alignment shop as soon as I lower it or do I need to drive it a little and make the springs settle and then have it aligned.

I'll normally wait about 50 miles or so before I get an aliment after suspension changes. That should be plenty of time for everything to settle.

So do they align good when using springs? Are these Bell springs any higher rate? I am just curious as to wether they improve handling other than the truck being lower.

As far as improved handling it's a definately yes. It literally feels like a sports car. But you do give up some slight smoothness of the stock suspension which is fine with me cause it feels firmly planted around every corner I take. As for higher rate I'm not sure. And as for aligning I hear they can get it pretty dang close to perfect.

You can eliminate some of that harshness by installing the shorter F-150 front sway bar end links. Here is the "Link" to the thread I posted a while back.
