I would pull out to make sure nothing is pinched. Did you tap into any other wires besides remote (blue wire from radio)?

Nope. Hooked up rca's, and tapped into blue remote turn on wire coming out of the back of the radio. Makes no sense.

2010-2012 rams are apparently very common to run into this problem. Nobody has been able to find a fix. A lot of guys have said they are upset dodge didnt have a recall to fix the widespread problem.

Ok now im getting pissed! Took outthe radio, unhooked it, pulled cluster and unhooked that, and disconnected positive and negative battery terminals and touched them to get static out. Left unhooked for a half hour.
Hooked everything back up, wipers still going nonstop, all dash lights on, headlights on, gauges dont work, and window buttons dont work.
Also in the process, i cracked the screen on my kenwood radio.
Someone said i might need to replace my TIPM because the wipers have no fuse. The wipers use the TIPM as the fuse. I give up

Might be time to take it the dealer. Sucks about the radio, when I have radios out I usually put something out to protect it.

I had the same issue intermittently with mine after I installed PAC NU-CHY2 for nav and video in-motion with the factory radio, took me while to track it down, but turned out one of the pins in the t-harness wire connector to the radio was bent. Does your EVIC act up also?

Great point - and I have seen weird stuff with bent pins before.

Well, i called the jeep/dodge dealer today to have my truck towed there. I paid them cash to install a new engine in my JK wrangler (hydrolocked) in 2014 and install a 50" lightbar. The mechanic didnt use the RIGID harness for the light i gave him. He just ran a red wire from the switch to the battery, no fuse. Wire was pinched between the dash A pillar, and while i was driving it home, shorted out. Whole jeep filled with smoke. I pulled over, popped the hood, and had to rip the red, smoking wire on fire with my bare hand of the positive post on the battery. They ended up firing the mechanic, and i told the service manager to just take care of me in the future.
Im not one to sue. So hopefully they figure out whats wrong with my truck.
I will post a reply on here to what the fix is.

The evic is in the cluster correct? That would explain the gauges and lights on...but what about the wipers and headlights staying on even though turned off?

Yes, the EVIC is the information center in the center of the cluster where you can select fuel economy, tire press, etc. My wipers went crazy also. The CAN bus (Controller Area Network) links devices together for communications, most thru the TIPM which has the relays and fuses for all your electronics and accessories. Disrupt that communication and all sorts of strange things can manifest.

Good luck at the dealer
