I know your getting giddy cant wait to hear it. If you dont have the y welded I would suggest getting wide band clamps for the joints.

So was it cheaper to do the Y pipe than it was to get the guy to fab one out? Gonna be a nice mod!

well i figured it would be a lot easier this way, i might just go ahead amd have the shop do it for me. I could probably talk him down a little bit if i offer my help. I just need it done the first time otherwise i cant make it to work haha. Gonna try and go tomorrow and talk to him about cutting the cats and get my final estimate on the cost. if its for $300 or less ill do it. Im just hopping he is game for cutting them cats to fit the piping.

I only do welds. I dont trust clamps, not one bit. Welding has never failed!
The clamps are only on there so i could put it together and see what it looks like. I cant wait to finally put these babies on! Its gonna sound awesome with the cutout!

Winning!!!! He is ditching the cats or putting them back on? If he guts them your gonna need nonfoulers till ya switch to DSP and have the rear o2s "shut off".

He is cutting the in/out piping to make it 3inches wide so i can keep the stock cats and they will fit onto the new piping. Gonna try and get it done this weekend if all the rest of the parts show up. Bought something else i think yall will like. Was an impulse buy! Just waitin on duane to ship it now!

Btw ive only bought my items from 3rd strike performance, and i dont think ill buy from anyone else! Great deals and great customer service. What more can you ask for!
