Ran across this on another forum with very good reviews from an Ex Chrysler engineer. Wondering if anyone has heard of it or tried it?
Very reasonably priced. The company is based out of Poland of all places

It's pretty close to Jscan in price per vin. Jscan is about 25$

I'm not one to spend money on something first, then find out what it can do later.

AlfaOBD had a pretty good following here with plenty of threads, youtube videos and lots of reasons to like it. Even back in 2018 when I first got it, so I knew that it could do what I needed BEFORE i paid for the software and hardware.

If it ever occurs that I see Appcar DiagFCA doing some of the things AlfaOBD fails at, i'll be on-board. Like, the idle/drive hours on the instrument cluster. AlfaOBD says "successful", but fails at it 100% of the time. Jscan can't do it either. Or programming key fobs for 5th gen. AlfaOBD can't do it, but Jscan can.

Don't see anywhere on the site where it says it will / can change options in the BCM and such, but it changes binary code in the proxi tables in non-bcm vehicles. And need to have separate license for every vehicle. No thanx. Don't see it as a viable alternative.

I think I will stick to AlfaOBD. Hasn't failed to do what I wanted yet.

Wanted to mention I already have the ALPHA setup so this was intended to be ifornational and see if anyone here has tried it.
I am on no position to challenge what all are saying as I am the one that is typically needing help.
I am also quite challenged in this area :laughing1::laughing1: so I could be looking at it around my UVULA which is not uncommon for me LMAO.

I scanned this section of their website before posting the link and with my limited knowledge it seemed pretty comprehensive. This coupled with the recommendation from a knowledgeable retired Chrysler engineer prompted me to post it. LINK TO USER SECTION

For those unaware of what an UVULA is their is one circled in the attached pic You can likely figure out why my UVULA might be affecting thoughts :doh2: ;) LOL :favorites13:

Thanks for posting.

It does look interesting. Please post any more details you learn about this or anything else you find fascinating.

This app appears easier to navigate, and I do appreciate the layout.
I'm in a similar boat as Ken.
If it could do more or different things than AlfaOBD, I might spend the extra $.

I would also need to find supporting evidence to take that leap.

I don't plan on buying it as I already have the Alpha system. It does SEEM to be a bit more user friendly. What really got my attention is who recommended it. The guy is a walking archive on Chrysler stuff. If I get the time (unlikely), I will do a bit more research on it. Can't be all bad, it's from Poland and Im a full blooded Pollack :laughing1:

I bought the Appcar FCA Diag program, before I found out about AlfaOBD. I found FCA Diag lacked some of the features that AlfaOBD has. Foget which ones offhand since I haven't used it in awhile, but I think programming key fobs and WIM were some of the stuff it wouldn't do. Don't quote me on that, but, I think that's what it was.

Thanks for the reply and your experience with the program. ALPHA It is and hope I don't really need to use it for anything serious or I'll definitely be back to pester the forum
