has anyone had issues with the fake alpine sound system? after dealer repaired under warranty the non working speakers, only bass sounds come from the front door speakers, and most of the sound comes from that weird center speaker in dash. I guess we all know the only thing Alpine is the name on that dash speaker, as its just oem part numbers on all. Unless I'm wrong, to use the oem head unit and scrap all the junk, you need a $400 harness to connect quality electronics. I'm worried about the bass only to the door speakers being a problem? please give a way to solve these problems, as it looks like it will take 4 door speakers, a sub, and a 5 channel amp to get anywhere. thx

Where the Alpine name comes into play with the sound system is the DSP that the system uses. There are multiple speakers throughout the truck and the subwoofer module under the back seat. It's expected that the speakers in the door won't play full range and that most of the sound appears to come from the center speaker on the dash.
