why not just do 2.1? that will leave you with a little rake, no need for upper control arm changes. you may find you are fine without rear spacers, can always add later if you like. mine is perfectly level with 2.1 and i love it.
I hear ya buddy. The guy on my right shoulder is telling me go with the 2.1 and make it easier on yourself. The guy on my left is saying go higher or you’ll regret it. Lol. This is my primary family vehicle that we do all our highway trips etc so 2.1 prob makes more sense to take the better mpg option and smaller(33-34”) tires.

Yea I used the spacer in the rear so I would still have rake, I liked the look

tire size is a factor, too. in canada anyway, the price goes up dramatically going past the 33s. 34's are like 100 per tire more. 35s, don't even ask. the nice thing about 2.1 level is that even if i stuck to stock tire size, i don't find myself thinking i HAVE to fill the wheel wells more. completely tolerably. not ruling out 34's but i would have to find a hell of a deal.

Bil's at 2.8 with 1" rear spacer

Finally after hours of reading the Bilstein threads and looking at pictures had the Bil's installed at 2.8 and a 1" Daystar spacer in the back. It came out just the way I wanted it to. Couldn't be happier! I can't even tell you how much it helped reading all the posts from guys who have already been through all this! Will be ordering BFG's this week. Either 275 x 65 x 20 or 285x65x20. Another decision! Posting before and after, if I can figure out how!

Alright, I’ll join the club.. kind of a newbie here, only one post in the bag but I’ve been gleaning information from here for a while and bought my truck 3 weeks ago. I didn’t put a full tank of fuel through it before I started the mods [emoji57]. I talked to Nick at gotexhaust and he hooked me up with Bilsteins up front and a fox 2.0/icon spring combo in the rear. Here’s how she looks before and after:

Bilsteins are at 2.8 and the icons added 1.5 in the rear. Also added the Mevotech TTX UCA’s for peace of mind. I’m on stock 20” sport rims with 275/60/20 Goodyear wrangler A/T’s
What a great ride this combo is. I can’t wait to take a longer trip and really get a feel for her, but just the little bit I’ve driven so far has been stellar!

Does the air lift raise the rear? Truck looks great. Trying to figure out if it’s just the 2.8’s leveling it.

I think at my DD low pressure setup, it slightly raised the rear as I do have a little rake still. Air them up and it raises the back up for sure.

I initially bought some 1" spacers for the rear but the stance was just right as is so I never installed them.

Bilsteins set at 2.8. More mods to come.

Installed at 2.8 setting yesterday. Got alignment today. Maybe a rear spacer in near future. I’ll see how it looks in a couple weeks. Bigger tires eventually. I’m on stock 275/60/20. Thanks for all the prior posts. Helped me a lot. 1st & 4th pics are before job.

Had my BFG KO2s installed yesterday. Completes the look I was going for and came out exactly how I envisioned it.

Hey brother, truck looks great and that’s the look I’m going for. I’m leaning towards same tires if I can save up the $. I don’t normally track mpg and maybe you don’t but did you notice a big diff in gas mileage with these beautiful tires?

Got my bills done yesterday. As well as wheel’s and tires. Set the bills to 2.8 and couldn’t be happier with the set up.
1st picture is before
2nd picture is after the bills on stock wheels and tires
3rd picture is after wheels and tires

did you change wheel size when you went to custom or just go to a lot taller sidewall? the custom rims look smaller...or tires look a lot taller

Yeah I went down in size with the wheels and bigger tires. The stock wheels size on those were 20” and I went down to a 17” with a 315/70 tire
