My 2019 ram 1500 having i think alternator issues. Bought a new battery but won't hold a charge was driving and the brakes power steering radio and screen all quit working and engine died. Only has 40k miles???

Go to a dealer. You should be within warranty if it is the alternator. Are you sure the new battery hasn’t failed? How long has the new battery been in before having issues again

I'd be more suspicious of the battery. Lots of people have had to replace their original OEM batteries. You can have your complete charging system checked for free at most auto parts stores.
