These are conflicting things, the warlock is a "classic" which is a continuation of the 4th generation rams that were made starting for the model year 2009. The 5th generation is a different redesigned new generation that began for the model year 2019. They are still making both models for the 2022 model year I believe, so it can cause some confusion having both in production simultaneously.
Being that you specifically mention warlock though, I would look for a video of any 4th generation ram with the same mirrors as yours where they change out the temp sensor. Since the 4th gen has been around forever I'm sure there are some videos out there.
If you search and can't find any you might want to ask over in the 4th gen section as well.
My new 1500 sport night edition ambient temp sensor has been consistently 5 or more degrees off. Does anyone know where the sensor is located so i can check it against a calibrated sensor? Wondering if its an inaccurate sensor or bad placement which is picking up engine heat. Thanks for any info.
@RamGeek moved you to a better section of the forum as Warlocks are Gen4 trucks, easy way to tell the two apart is Gen4 has 5 lug nuts and Gen5 has 6 lug nuts.
I need help cannot locate my amb. Air sensor. 2018 ram slt , with tow package. Dealer said it is in the mirror, it's not in it. They also said my mirrors don't match what should be on the truck. But I have a sensor and it just went bad. Any clues where I can find it. Included a pic of mirror and the door module
Sensor is inside mirror arm. I've changed mine twice and it is fairly easy. Look for a little door or hatch. It will be inside. To unplug the cord you will need to remove the inner door panel to get at the plug.
