Well finally got my rockford components and rear rockford 3way 6x9s and amp all wired up today. If you replaced your speakers in your ram and think it sounds good, wait till you hook up an amp to them! I cant crank it up all the way...rediculously loud. Also make sure you get an amp that is powerful enough for your speakers.
I got lucky and bought an old school used kicker 120x4 RMS amp for $100.
Kicker KX650.4

That is a powerful amp, and for the money...wow

Yeah i couldnt pass the amp up. I honestly think the KX650.4 was only used as a display unit. There werent even scratches or any marks where the mounting bolts go.
He also had a Kicker KX1200.1 and only wanted $150 for it, but i didnt have the money. Im honestly happy with the bass from my rockford power components and 6x9's. I wont be adding a sub...so i say now. Lol
I will post pics tomorrow. In this pic i just had the amp hooked up to make sure everything worked. I rerouted all the power and speaker wires and ground today. Remember guys, add an amp to your aftermarket speakers...you will thank me later.

Wonder if this install has something to do with our new electronic issue?

Im wondering the same thing. I had to fish the rca cables up behind the dash to plug into my radio. Once we get a warm day im gonna poks around and shake skme wires.

That ground bolt, was that there or did you add it?

Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Thats just a temporary ground i scraped the paint off and screwed in with a self tapping screw, so i knew everything was working ok. When i bolt the seat back in, im going to ground it to the seat bolt.
